ORDER

This petition has been filed to condone the absence for non-appearance before the respondent police since 19.04.2025 and allow the petitioner to report at the respondent police, daily at 10:30 A.M., as per order dated 09.04.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.10781 of 2025 passed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Upon perusal of the records, it shows that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 09.04.2025, with one of the conditions that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police, daily at 10:30 A.M., until further orders. The main contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner executed sureties on 17.04.2025, and was released from the prison on 18.04.2025. Subsequently, he suffered by typhoid fever on 19.04.2025 and as advised by the doctor to take bed rest, he could not appear before the respondent police. Meanwhile, on 24.04.2025, his brother-in-law passed away in the State of Andhra Pradesh; therefore, he was unable to appear before the respondent police. However, on 03.05.2025, the petitioner went to the police station to comply with the conditions, the respondent police did not allow the petitioner to comply with the conditions. Hence the present petition.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also considering the petitioner is hailing from Bangalore North, Karnataka State and he is ready to comply with the conditions, this Court is inclined to permit the petitioner to comply with the conditions before the respondent police.

5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to stay in Tamilnadu and to appear before the respondent police for a period of one week at 10:30 A.M., and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.

6. With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
