Banumathi ..Respondent(s) Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners on 11.05.2026 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court by following due procedure of law and cancel the

fraudulent patta bearing patta Nos. 4356 and 4354 granted in favour of the Respondents 4 and 5.

Issuance of notice, to the respondents 4 and 5, is dispensed with.

2. The petitioners have preferred an appeal before the second respondent questioning the issuance of patta in favour of the private respondents herein. The petitioners state that the private respondents are presently promoting the property by fraudulently including a road portion. For this reason, they seek a direction to the second respondent to dispose of their appeal. Therefore, I direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioners' appeal on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
