JUDGMENT

This appeal arises from the judgment dated 10.12.2001 made in C.A.No.15 of 2001 on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge, Pondicherry, acquitting the respondents herein by reversing the judgment made in STR.No.1545 of 1998 dated 29.03.2001 made by the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pondicherry.

2. By consent of both parties, a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and to that effect they have filed a petition seeking to leave the compound the offence. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. By recording the settlement between the parties, the Criminal appeal is closed and the petition filed under section 320 of Cr.P.C (Petition seeking leave to compound the offence) is form part of the records. The State Legal Services Authority, Chennai is directed to pay remuneration to the learned Legal Aid counsel appearing for the appellant viz., Mr.A.Balamurugan.
