This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in E-2 Crime No.558 of 2016 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Land Grabbing cell of the 1st respondent office for investigation and take action in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.558 of 2016 has been registered and is being investigated by the 2nd respondent police.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
