ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2013 seeking interest for the belated payment of salary, surrendering leave salary, D.A. arrears and GPF amount. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he was selected and appointed as Junior Instructor in Electronics under Rule 10(a) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(i) of the General Rules for the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules, by the order of the Joint Director of Technical Education (in-charge) on 30.01.1975 and he joined in the said post on 07.02.1975. After getting periodical promotions, he retired from service in the post of Polytechnic Principal, on 30.09.2012, on attaining the age of superannuation. It is the further case of the petitioner that since he was paid salary for the months of March, April, May, June and July of the year 2012, surrender leave salary, DA arrears and GPF belatedly, which are the valuable rights of the petitioner, he made a representation dated 27.07.2013 to the second respondent claiming interest for the same, but the same was not considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.Heard both sides and perused the documents enclosed in the typed set of papers.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2013, if not already disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
