Mrs.Geetha Thamarai Selvan, the Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.S.Ravi Kumar, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the order passed by the first respondent vide ref.Na.Ka.No.325/2025/Est. Section, dated 29.05.2025, consequently direct the first respondent to re-instate the petitioner in service.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the writ petition has been filed challenging the final order passed by the Joint Registrar of Co-operatives dated 29.05.2025, as per the Tamil Nadu Co2/5

operative Societies Act, Section 153 provides revisional remedy to the petitioner.

4. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner can approach the revisional Authority and in view of such alternative remedy, the present writ petition is not maintainable.

5. I have given my anxious consideration to the submissions made on either side.

6. As rightly contended by the learned Special Government Pleader, there is a remedy of revision available to the petitioner. Hence, instead of adjudicating the writ petition on merits, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to approach the revisional Authority within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On filing of such revision, the revisional Authority is directed to dispose of the same upon its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period three months thereafter.
