This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representations dated 29.08.2019 made by the petitioner and rectify the Patta No.2596 in respect of land in S.No.195/2B comprising 004.00 Ares in the name of the Petitioner by deleting the name of the 5th respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.08.2019, wherein the petitioner is seeking for rectification in the revenue records and for deleting the name of the 5th respondent and to add the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property. 2.Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the 3rd respondent has fixed the date for an enquiry on 06.01.2021 at 11.00 AM. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents. 3.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 3rd respondent has already called the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct the enquiry, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the 5th respondent and shall submit a report before the 2nd respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 2nd respondent on receipt of the report from the 3rd respondent shall pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
