ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] Seeking leave under the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982, for the convict prisoner Sarfudeen s/o.P.K.Abdul Salam (CT No.6583), an application has been submitted to the respondents and thereafter, this Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant ordinary leave for one month to the detenu Sarfudeen s/o.P.K.Abdul Salam, aged about 45 years, Convict No.6583, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore.

2. On instructions, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that the leave application of the convict prisoner is under process.

3. In view of the above, we direct the second respondent to dispose of the leave application of the convict prisoner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and intimiate the same to the petitioner as well to the convict prisoner.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of . No costs.
