Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to re-designate the petitioner as Associate Professor and grant the scale of pay of Rs.37400-67000 with academic Grade Pay of Rs.9000/- with effect from 24.03.2010 and pay all the arrears of salary and other benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of which the amounts became due till the date of disbursement.
