..Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the impugned order in C.P.T.No.41/2021 dated 26.08.2021 on the file of second respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the detenu Vicky @ Vignesh s/o.Gopinath, aged about 27 years, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J] The petitioner is the mother of the detenue viz., Vicky @ Vignesh s/o.Gopinath, aged about 27 years. The detenue has been detained by the second respondent by his order in C.P.T.No.41/2021 dated 26.08.2021, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C.P.T.No.41/2021 dated 26.08.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.5800, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 26.11.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
