Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to issue orders, approving the appointment of the petitioner, Sr.Celine Mary A, working as B.T.Assistant (Science) in the fifth respondent St.Mary's Girls' Higher Secondary School, Vellore, Vellore District - 632 001 w.e.f. 04.07.2023 and release salary, with all service and monetary benefits.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to approve the appointment of the petitioner to the post of BT Assistant (Science) in the fifth respondent School.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials available on record. 2/5
3. The fifth respondent School is a minority institution under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. The petitioner was appointed in the regular sanctioned post with grant-in-aid by the Government. The staff fixation of the fifth respondent School for the academic years 20222023 and 2023-2024 revealed that the eligibility for the said post from the records issued by the competent educational authorities. Thereafter, the fifth respondent had sent a proposal for approval of appointment of the petitioner to the post of BT Assistant (Science) with effect from 04.07.2023. However, it is still pending with the fourth respondent.

In view of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the proposal sent by the fifth respondent for approval of appointment of the petitioner to the post of BT Assistant (Science) and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
