Respondent(s) PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking Writ of certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to Letter bearing (2D) No.2 dated 07.01.2011 of the first respondent and quash the same in so far it relates to reckoning the seniority of the petitioner in the cadre of Junior Assistant from the date of his appointment viz., 16.02.2011 and further direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the bottom of 2002-
2003 list of Junior Assistant or in the alternate place him in the bottom most place in the List of Junior Assistant for the year 2007-2008 as approved by the first respondent and grant consequential benefits notionally viz., retrospective promotion, refixation of seniority in the cadre of Junior Assistant and Assistant. ORDER
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has addressed a letter to the Registry of this Court stating that he intends to withdraw this Writ Petition. The original letter addressed by the petitioner is also placed on record.
2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
