Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to issue the summons to the respondents herein and to punish them under the provisions of Contempt of Court Act for their wilful disobedience of the final order dated 18.01.2024 passed in W.P.No.14659 of 2022.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 18.01.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.14659 of 2022, thereby directing the respondent to consider the case of the petitioners, as directed by this Court in W.P.No.6646 of 2013, subject to the result of SLP and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the second respondent by an order dated 23.05.2024, rejected the claim made by the petitioners and it will be considered after disposal of the SLP(C).No.19874 of 2017 by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, since there was an interim order.

Considering the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, no contempt is made out as against the respondents. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is dismissed.
