(ORDER OF THE COURT WAS MADE BY THE HON'BLE CHIEF JUSTICE) Heard Mr.A.Rajakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) for respondent No.1 and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel for respondent No.2.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is residing at No.1/A, Saathanar Street, Old pet, Bazaar Street, Attur-636 102, Salem District. The petitioner has preferred an appeal under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 in relation to the alleged unauthorized construction. The prayer of the petitioner is that the Appeal No.11017 of 2019 dated 18.05.2019 be disposed of by respondent No.1 expeditiously.
3. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) states that respondent No.1 be directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of eight weeks. The submission made by the learned Government Pleader (i/c) is taken on record.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader (i/c), we direct the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal No.11017 of 2019 dated 18.05.2019, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
