ORDER

Today, this matter is listed under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. The learned counsel for the official respondents would submit that the present petition was dismissed vide order dated 16.03.2026 by imposing cost against the petitioner for a sum of Rs.50,000/-. Further, this Court directed the District Collector, Perambalur, to recover the said amount within a period of 4 weeks and deposit the same with Tamil Nadu Legal Service Authority. However, the said amount was not at all recovered from the petitioner till date.

3. In view of the above, this Court suo moto impleads the District Collector, Perambalur District as one of the respondent. Mrs.S.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the District Collector. The District Collector is directed to take appropriate steps to recover the cost imposed by this Court vide order dated 16.03.2026, under the Revenue Recovery Act, before the next date of hearing.

4.
