Heard Mr. Cibi Vishnu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. C.Samivel, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The grievance ventilated by the Petitioner is that the information sought by him under the Right to Information Act, 2005, has been refused by Order in File No. CIC/ DODEF/A/2022/103943 dated 03.01.2023 passed by the First Respondent, which is challenged in this Writ Petition. 3.

It has been brought to notice that after the filing of this Writ Petition, the Joint Director/Chief Information Officer, Directorate of Ordnance (C & S), HVF Campus, Avadi, Chennai by Proceedings No. 103/ DOO/ DFUAV/ RTI/ IE/HVF/SV dated 22.11.2023 has furnished the information sought by the Petitioner and its copy is placed on record.

In view of subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any further grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid clarifications. No costs.
