Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Natham S.No.17/1, Joint Patta No.220, as per joint Patta, New natham S.No.366/19, Chinnavalayam, Periyavalayam Madura, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Jayankondam, Ariyalur District, to an extent of 1170 Sq.feet (109 Sq.Meter) based on the petitioner's patta application dated 25.05.2024.

By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the based on the petitioner's patta application dated 25.05.2024. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he made application before the respondent to issue separate patta for his property comprised in Natham S.No.17/1, Joint Patta No.220, as per joint Patta, New natham S.No.366/19, Chinnavalayam, Periyavalayam Madura, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Jayankondam, Ariyalur District, to an extent of 1170 Sq.feet (109 Sq.Meter) and also paid necessary charges. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 2/4

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
