The petitioner claims as an Association of Transparency and Anti-corruption seeks for a direction, directing the respondents to enquire into the allegations levelled in the legal notice dated 07.05.2014 and to initiate enquiry proceedings against the erring officials of Tamilnadu Fisheries Department involved in the embezzlement of funds under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
The petitioner is not a person aggrieved and if he wants to initiate any action, he has to file a Public Interest Litigation in the manner known to law and the writ petition on Omni bus allegation on factual issues is not maintainable and accordingly, the same stands dismissed.
