..Respondent(s) Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the arrears of service benefits for the period from 02.09.1997 to 30.06.2008 for the post of Head of Section in Editing with interest accordance with law within the time limit fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard, Mr. M. Vijaya Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.S.M.Hassan Fizal, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is a retired employee of the third respondent Institute. The petitioner's case is that he has to be paid service benefit for having worked as Head of Section from 02.09.1997 till 30.06.2008, the petitioner has given a representation dated 08.05.2026 claiming service benefits, he also seeks revision of pension arrears, for this reason, he seeks for a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation. Without going into the merits of the matter, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the Writ Petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
