ORDER

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus, to direct the respondents to continue to pay the Old Age Pension granted to the petitioner by the first respondent in his proceedings dated 12.07.2007 bearing reference A4/19574/07 of the first respondent under O.A.P.No.Now 9284 formerly account No.33987, stopped from the month of May 2014. 3.It is noticed that the writ petition was filed by the petitioner in the year 2014. The petitioner was aged about 82 at the time of filing of the writ petition. Almost eight years have lapsed since then. Notice was ordered at the time of admission. The respondents have also not filed their counter. 4.Considering the above, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation, within a period of 2/4

three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law after ascertaining the current status. Before passing such order, suitable notice shall be issued to the petitioner. No costs.
