There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

2. This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to amend the satisfaction Court as 'Judicial Magistrate-II, Ambattur' instead of 'Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore' in Crl.O.P.No.11162 of 2026 dated 30.04.2026.

3. There are no serious objections on behalf of the respondents.

4. The FIR in the present case falls within the jurisdiction of the Ambattur Police Station. However, in the order dated 30.04.2026 passed in Crl.O.P. No. 11162 of 2026, the satisfaction Court has been inadvertently mentioned as "Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore" instead of "Judicial Magistrate No. II, Ambattur". In view of the said inadvertent error, it has become necessary to amend the satisfaction Court.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed, and the satisfaction Court mentioned in the order dated 30.04.2026 passed in Crl.O.P. No. 11162 of 2026 shall be read as "Judicial Magistrate No. II, Ambattur" instead of "Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore". 02-06-2026 (1/2) Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order dpa Note: Registry is directed to carryout necessary amendment.
