The Criminal Original Petition was filed during November, 2009 itself. Whenever, the matter appeared for admission, learned counsel for the petitioner took adjournments. Even after so many years, the counsel for the petitioner is not ready to get on with the case for admission.
2. When the petition was posted for hearing on 09.02.2016, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted for hearing on 19.02.2016 under the caption "for dismissal". Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this court is constrained to dismiss the Criminal Original Petition for non prosecution.
3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
