Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to admit the petitioner in Government Polytechnic College, Thoothukudi 628 008 for this academic year 2016-2017 and to approve the same by the 1st respondent treating the transcription error of the petitioner's father as R. Perumal instead of R.Perumalsamy in the transfer certificates issued by Hindu Ganapathy Kasinathan High School, K. Thangammalpuram, Thoothukudi and G.G.R.College of Engineering, Vellore. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to admit the petitioner in Government Polytechnic College, Thoothukudi for the academic year 2016-2017.

2. By virtue of the order of this Court dated 11.07.2016, the petitioner was permitted in the second respondent-College. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and has made the following endorsement:- "The petitioner has been already admitted in the second respondent-College in pursuant to the interim order dated 11.07.2016 and now he is studying second year. Hence, the same may be recorded."

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the endorsement so made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
