Heard both sides.

The writ petitioner joined the respondent Corporation as a Conductor. Subsequently, he suffered cardiac failure and was therefore assigned light duty. The management now wants to restore him to his earlier position of Conductor. The petitioner therefore wants a direction to the authorities to assess his present medical condition. In this regard, he submitted a representation dated 13.01.2026 for referring him to a Medical Board.

In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the petitioner shall continue to be assigned

light duty.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
