ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the District Sessions Judge (Special Court for SC/ST cases), Thiruvannamalai to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day of surrender in connection with a case in Crime No.83 of 2025 on the file of the respondents. 1 / 3

2. This Court is not inclined to entertain this petition, since already Section 18-A of the ST and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, is available to show that under said Act, the victim is also to be heard. If at all the petitioner approaches the Court below either for bail or by filing any other petition, unless opportunity is given to the victim, no Court shall pass any order including the High Court.

3. Therefore, in the above circumstances, this petition is dismissed, with liberty to approach the trial Court for appropriate remedy. 09.06.2025 cs To
