There is no representation either for the petitioner or for the private respondents.

2. This is petition filed seeking police protection to the petitioner and her family members as per the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2024.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner's request seeking police protection for her and her family members has been considered and it has been found out that due to property dispute between the petitioner and the villagers, there was a quarrel and a CSR has been registered on 18.01.2024 in CSR No.784 of 2024 on the file of Villupuram (West) Police Station.

4. Considering the nature of the dispute, the parties are advised to approach the Civil Court to get their grievance redressed and there is no necessity to issue any direction to the police to give protection to the petitioner and her family members. However, the police shall ensure that due to the property dispute, there is no law and order problem. With the above observation and direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
