4. The case of the petitioner is that he owned the subject properties by virtue of the settlement deed dated 05.08.2005 executed by his father and the said property has been given by one Muthaiah and the petitioner and his father were in possession of the property for more than 40 years. While so, the respondents 4 to 8 created fake documents of pasali in the year 1979 in the name Kuzhanthaivel and got forged pata in their name in order to grab property from the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the Inspector of Police Kurinjipaid Police Station against the respondents 4 to 8 but no steps have been taken by them. The petitioner has also made a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta issued in the name of Kuzhanthaivel and his legal heirs, viz., respondents 4 to 8. As the respondents 1 to 3 have not taken any action, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
5.
