This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of promotion and transfer issued by the second respondent.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that already the petitioner had joined the promoted post and he is working there.
