Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to impugned notice dated 18.06.2023 on the file of the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent not to take any coercive steps to demolish the school building by enforcing provisions of the repealed Act., i.e., Erode City Municipal Corporation Act, 2008.

Challenging the impugned notice dated 18.06.2023 on the file of the respondent, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent on instructions would submit that the respondent Corporation has withdrawn the notice impugned in this Writ Petition and thus, he prayed to close the present Writ Petition.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
