Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent dated 30.03.2012 in Letter No.C3/2998/11 with respect to the demand of Rs.1,73,10,000/- towards security deposit for development as contained in the column (iv) of the impugned order of the 2nd respondent and quash the same with respect to the building to be put up at Bye Pass Road, Karambakkam, Porur, Chennai - 116 comprised in R.S.Nos.137/1, 138/1, 148/5A, 148/7A of Karambakkam Village by quashing the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to grant planning permission as sought for in respect of residential building in the aforesaid property without insisting upon the demand of Security Deposit for development as contained in Letter No.C3/2998/11, dated 30.03.2012 issued by the 2nd respondent.
