PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus as, (a) Directing the respondents 2 and 5 to get the First Information Report registered on the basis of the representation dated 12.01.2016 made by the petitioner on behalf of the Salem Seelanaickenpatty Alagu Nagar welfare Association and submit the 1st respondent, (b) Directing the 1st respondent to entrust the F.I.R to a competent officer not below the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Land Grabbing Cell for investigation as per law.

ORDER

The Writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 5 to get the First Information Report registered on the basis of the representation dated 12.01.2016 made by the petitioner on behalf of the Salem Seelanaichenpatty Alagu Nagar welfare Association and submit it to the 1st respondent and directing the 1st respondent to entrust the F.I.R to a competent officer not below the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police of the Land Grabbing cell for investigation as per law.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has given a representation in the year 2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 2nd and 5th respondents and on receipt of such representation the 2nd and 5th respondent is directed to consider the representation and pass orders in accrodance with law.

3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
