Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased To direct the 1st Respondent / Petitioner to pay last drawn wages of Rs.13081/- to the petitioner under section 17B of I.D. Act (in WMP.No.21333 of 2021) pending disposal of the WP.No.20004 of 2018. Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.T.VARADARAJULU, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.SUNDARAVADANAN, Standing Counsel for the 1st Respondent and of MRS.C.SANGAMITHIRAI, Special Government Pleader for the 2nd Respondent, the court made the following order:- The employee has filed this Miscellaneous Petition to direct the employer to pay last drawn wages of Rs. 13,081/- to the Petitioner under Section 17-B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, pending disposal of the Writ Petition.

Learned Counsel for the employee states that the employee would report for work on 28.03.2022 and he would be regular in performing his duties. It is made clear that the wages that the employee would be entitled to receive in terms of the impugned order shall be paid to him from the time he attends duty and shall not be restricted to the last drawn wages under Section 17-B of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
Post the matter on 21.04.2022.
