[hereinafter referred to as TASMAC] by order dated 24.06.2013 on account of their involvement in a matter of causing fire to the TASMAC shop in question. According to the petitioners, they were not involved in the said act. The petitioners, therefore seek an order directing the respondents to revoke the suspension and permit them to join duty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The learned standing counsel for TASMAC on instructions submitted that notwithstanding the criminal case now pending against the petitioners, the TASMAC would conduct and conclude the enquiry within a period of three months. The learned Standing Counsel further submitted that the petitioners would be given subsistence allowance in accordance with the regulations.
3. The 2nd respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to point out that subsistence allowance should be paid to the petitioners during the currency of the suspension period. The arrears effective January 2015 should be paid within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
