O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent-Police to file a final report in Crime No.152 of 2021, F.I.R dated 20.3.2021 within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police on instructions submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.152 of 2021, the respondent-Police has closed the case as "Further Action Dropped". Thereafter, the closure report was also filed before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Neyveli vide RCS No.63 of 2021 dated 26.5.2021. He further submitted that RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner. The petitioner instead of filing either a protest petition or a private complaint as the case may be before the Magistrate concerned, he filed this criminal original petition.

4. In view of the above submission that the petitioner's complaint was closed and RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner and also considering the fact that no complaint is pending as on date before the respondent-Police, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief as sought

for in this criminal original petition.

5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
