PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Sections 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No. 17996 of 2012 dated 15.11.2018.

ORDER

Heard Mr.A.R.Nixon, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel for the second respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the second respondent forwarded an order which indicates the compliance of the directions of this Court. The order is dated 17.06.2022. It is stated that the respondents, have each paid a sum of Rs.49,838/- and according to them that is in accordance with the compliance with the direction and in full settlement of the petitioner herein. Mr. A.R.Nixon, learned counsel for the petitioner also affirms payment of such amounts.

3. The only grievance raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that liberty should be granted to the petitioner to work out his remedies if according to him, there are some more amounts due and payable by the respondents.

4. The Court need not specifically state about any such liberty. If the petitioner has a grievance, I am confident that he can take recourse in manner known to law. The Contempt Petition stands closed. 17.06.2022 vsg Index: Yes/No Speaking order / Non speaking order
