ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction to the respondent police not to harass.

2. The petitioner submits that he is a transport driver, and a false complaint was given by one Chitra and on the guise of enquiry, he was unnecessarily harassed by the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for respondent would submit that Chitra is the second wife of petitioner and out of relationship, they have daughter. The petitioner agreed to maintain the said Chitra and her daughter. Thereafter, he has not paid any money. In view of the same, Chitra lodged the complaint and for the purpose of enquiry, the petitioner was called.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the nature of complaint and the petitioner's need and necessary to be called for enquiry, this Court does not deems it as harassment. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and sort out the issue with Chitra.
