The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 11.08.2014 and grant patta to the petitioner for the lands comprised in S.F.Nos.55/4, 55/5, 57 in Maangulam Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that, though he has given his application as early as on 11.08.2014 for issuance of patta, the 3rd respondent has not issued the patta so far. 3.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, submitted that the 3rd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2014 and pass order on merits and in accordance with law after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
