Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the orders passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.10519/Aa3/2003, dated 06.05.2003 and the consequential order of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.1028/Aaa1/2003 dated 09.07.2003 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 3 to approve the appointment of the petitioner as PG Assistant-English and confer all the consequential benefits.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the orders passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.10519/Aa3/2003, dated 06.05.2003 and the consequential order of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.1028/Aaa1/2003 dated 09.07.2003 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 3 to approve the appointment of the petitioner as PG Assistant-English and confer all the consequential benefits.

2. I heard Mr.Mr.P.Ganesan for C.Kalaiselvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam, Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 appearing for the respondents.

3. Since questioning the promotion of the 3rd respondent as Headmaster in the school, the writ petitioner has been filed this writ petition. While pendency of the writ petition, the 3rd respondent was given promotion as Headmaster continuing for more than three years later on he retired from his service. Hence, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.
