The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the 6% interest for belated payment of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension Commutation and Earned Leave salary and consequently direct the respondents to pay the unsettled benefits of leave surrender amount and last 11 days salary within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that when the petitioner, who had retired from the services of the respondent 2/5
corporation on 31.05.2023 as Selection Grade Senior Driver, made a representation dated 05.05.2025 to the respondents claiming interest for the delayed payment and also seeking additional salary for the last 11 days of service, there was no response for the same.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
