O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 10.12.2019.

2. The petitioner participated in the process of selection for the appointment to the post of Supervisor in Film and Television Institution of Tamil Nadu at Chennai.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner mainily contended that the process of selection was not conducted in accordance with the procedures as contemplated. The Selection Committee has committed certain illegalities and irregularities in the matter of selection and consequently, the petitioner lost his opportunity to secure employment on merit. The petitioner states that he is a disabled person suffering 60% of disability. The representation submitted by the writ petitioner with reference to certain allegations also

were not looked into.

4. Admittedly, the petitioner was a candidate participated in the process of selection. If at all the petitioner identified any illegality or irregularity in the process of selection, he has to challenge the process of selection or select list or the appointment order as the case may be.

5. Merely by directing the respondents to consider the representation in the present case would do no service to the cause of justice and the petitioner will be back again to the Court by way of filing another writ petition. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
