PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, to forbear the first respondent, his men, agents, servants, or subordinates, or anybody acting on their behalf from in any way harassing the petitioner and his family, interfering with his right over the property situated in S.No.789/1, Bonganapalli Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District bounded on the west by common road, East by Padmanaba Chettiar Land, North by S.No.788/1, and South by S.No.790.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent police, not to harass the petitioner on the instance of second respondent.

2. It is seen that the entire dispute is with regard to land property. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
