By consent of both parties, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner had qualified in B.Sc. Zoology and M.Sc., Wild Life Biology from Bharathidasan Univcersity and he applied to the post of Forest Apprentice in the Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service. Pursuant to the Resolution passed in 47th Equivalence Committee Meeting held on 04.03.2014, M.Sc., Wild Life Biology awarded by Bharathidasan University is not equivalent to B.Sc. degree in Forestry. The aforesaid resolution has been challenged by way of filing a batch of writ petitions by the similarly placed persons, but the same are pending seeking a decision on the aforesaid Government Order.

3. In view of the fact that already a batch of Writ Petitions are pending challenging the Government Order pertaining to the rejection of Equivalency of M.Sc. Wild Life Biology on par with B.Sc. Degree in Forestry, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition cannot be granted. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said Government Order. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
