When the matter was listed for hearing on 09.08.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner, hence, Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 12.08.2024. When the matter was called today i.e., 12.08.2024 none represented on behalf of the petitioner. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the writ petition has otherwise become infructuous as the prayer in the writ petition to relieve the petitioner so as to enable him to report for duty before the 3rd respondent at Pollachi - 3 as per the transfer order 07.07.2015 was complied with as the petitioner was relieved on 20.02.2016 and he also joined duty on 23.02.2016 at Pollachi - 3.

2. In view of the above nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition and the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
