O R D E R

The wife seeks transfer of HMOP.No.77 of 2021 filed by the husband seeking divorce on the file of the Family Court, Srivilliputtur.

2. The transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience. Wife is the resident of Ondipudur in Coimbatore. The husband is the resident of Srivillputtur in Virudhunagar District.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent/husband would submit that his father-in-law is a Tahsildar in Coimbatore District and therefore he has got certain reservations in conducting the proceedings in Coimbatore.

4. I do not think that the apprehension of the respondent is justified. However, that if the Original Petition is transferred https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the Family Court at Coimbatore, the respondent/husband who is the resident of Srivilliputtur will have to appear for every hearing before the Family Court, Coimbatore in person and the same will cause considerable inconvenience to him.

5. Hence, the HMOP.No.77 of 2021 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Srivilliputtur and transferred to the file of the to Principal Sup-Court, Coimbatore, where the husband can appear through the counsel for non-essential hearing.

6. This Civil Revision Petition is allowed as indicated above. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
