ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed as against the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 30.05.2023.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board would submit that as against the order impugned in the writ petition, there is an effective appeal remedy available to the petitioner before the Tamil Nadu Electricity Ombudsman, Guindy and, without availing the appeal remedy, the 2/5

petitioner filed this Writ Petition.

3. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to approach the Tamil Nadu Electricity Ombudsman to avail the appeal remedy by way of filing appeal within period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any appeal is filed, the Electricity Ombudsman is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter.
