Prayer: Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, pleased to withdraw the FCOP No.241 of 2021 now pending on the file of the learned Family Court, Vellore and transfer the same to the learned Family Judge, Chennai.

The wife seeks transfer of FCOP No.241 of 2021 on the file of the Family Court, Vellore to the Family Court at Chennai.
2. The transfer is sought for mainly on the ground of convenience of the wife who is a resident of Nammalvarpet, Chennai. It is also stated that she is a Judicial officer and serving as Principal District Munsif at Poonamallee. It is stated that the wife has filed IDOP No.4170 of 2021 and the same is pending on the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai.
3. Considering the convenience of the parties and the fact that the husband will be required to appear in person for every hearing if the case is transferred to the Family Court, Chennai, I am of the considered opinion that it will be in the interest of the parties to have the matter at the District Court where the presence of the parties for every hearing is not required. The counsels are also not averse to the said idea. Hence, the FCOP No.241 of 2021 pending on the file of the Family https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court, Vellore and IDOP No.4170 of 2021 pending on the file of the II Additional Family Court Chennai are withdrawn and transferred to the District Court, Kancheepuram to be disposed of in accordance with law. The learned District Judge, Kancheepuram is required to dispose of the Original Petitions within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the papers from the said Courts. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
