PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order memo C.No.25/G/IS/TIRUPPUR CITY/2025 dated 13.05.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent under Tamil Nadu act 14 of 1982 and quash the same and direct the respondent to produce the detenue Sugumar son of Krishnan male aged about 40 years now confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore before this court and set the detenue Sugumar son of Krishnan male aged about 40 years at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3658, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 23.06.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
