Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Ms.Jayasakthi .R, learned counsel, placed on record the electronic mail dated 15.02.2026 sent by the sister of the deceased petitioner, wherein it is stated that the deceased petitioner died on 16.05.2025, while the writ petition was pending and that the petitioner's sister and mother, who are the legalheirs of the deceased, do not wish to prosecute the case.
