Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to permit the petitioner to run the Bunk Tea Shop (petti kadai) in SIRUCHERI SIPCOT COMPANY based on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.04.2023. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third and fourth respondents to permit him to run the Bunk Tea Shop in Sirucheri Sipcot Company, based on his representation dated 05.04.2023.

2. Mr.G.Suresh Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.N.NaveenKumar, learned Government Advocate takes 2/6

notice for the second to fifth respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, he is specially abled person having disability of 50%. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 05.04.2023, seeking permission to run the Bunk Tea Shop (Petti Kadai) in Sirucheri Sipcot. It is also the case of the petitioner that he has no other means for livelihood.

4. Mr.N.NaveenKumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the second to fifth respondents submits that the entire Sipcot area is maintained by the Special Tahsildar, Sipcot, Sirucheri and he has to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass necessary orders.

5. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to forward the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.04.2023 to the Competent Authority namely the Special Tahsildar, Sipcot, Sirucheri, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of 3/6

a copy of this order. On receipt of the representation forwarded by the second respondent, the said Authority namely the Special Tahsildar, Sipcot, Sirucheri, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of representation forwarded by the second respondent.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
