This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to file final report in Crime No.01 of 2010 dated 18.09.2010 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter involves an offence under IPC as well as the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors Act (TNPID Act). The learned counsel further submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been filed before the Special Court dealing with TNPID cases, Chennai, on 23.12.2020. It was further submitted that the final report is yet to be taken on file.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the Special Court dealing with TNPID cases, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chennai, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
